Stephanie - Freelance Editor

stephanie_fraser

Stephanie is a former associate editor with HarperCollins publishers. In her nearly five years there, she worked on a variety of genres, including narrative non-fiction, commercial and literary fiction, celebrity memoir, cookbooks, pop-culture and music, quirky and alternative fiction and non-fiction including LGBT titles, and supernatural and paranormal projects. She provided instrumental support for at least seven New York Times bestsellers, and has personally edited such authors as New York Times bestsellers Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Zecharia Sitchin, Rawi Hage, the winner of the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award in 2008, and noted bestseller and fan favorite Janet Aylmer (author of Darcy's Story). Prior to her time at HarperCollins, Stephanie attended New York University's Summer Publishing Institute.

She is especially known for publishing first-time novelists to exceptional critical acclaim, and is a careful, attentive and nurturing editor. Stephanie will tailor her editing to your specifications, whether you'd prefer an extensive line-edit as well as key plot development and concept feedback, or marketing advice to help you reach the widest possible audience, or perhaps help selecting the right literary agent or pitching your book to publishers.

Stephanie is selective about which projects she works with. If you are interested in hiring her, please contact: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
