Randy -- Freelance Editor

Randy is a former editorial associate at Winans Kuenstler Publishing. While there, he worked closely with ghostwriter R. Foster Winans (author of Book of the Week selection, “Trading Secrets: Seduction and Scandal at the Wall Street Journal”, St. Martin’s Press), taking part in the researching, editing, proofreading, and writing of eight published books of varying subjects: memoir, corporate branding, fiction, history, economics, and finance. The most prominent of these is “The Man On Mao’s Right” by Ji Chaozhu, the memoir of a Chinese citizen who served as Chairman Mao’s English translator and has been a fly on the wall to East-West relations for more than a half-century.
Outside the book world, Randy’s independent editorial work has taken many forms. Most recently, he’s been copywriting and editing for corporate websites, writing grants, adapting scripts, and is a regular contributor to several magazines in his hometown of Philadelphia.
An obsessive line-editor and proofreader, Randy works closely with authors and is not done until both parties are satisfied with the finished product. Randy is selective about which projects he works with. If you are interested in hiring him, please contact: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
